Mr Tam said that the avocado tree is very easy to grow, almost no need to fertilize and care, harvest in 3-4 years, average plant can range from 300-400 kg of fruit per tree, the price on the market about 10.000-12.000 VND/kg, therefore famer can get income of 100 million VND per hectare. The income is considered pretty compared to many other crops are present in Dak Lak, so that many households increasingly more interested in the development of Booth avocado trees (Dak Lak is about 2.694 avocado trees with a production approximately 40.000 tons of avocado per year).
So far, the model off-season Booth has over 20 households in the commune of Ea Na learn and follow, bringing the total area to 34 hectares. As these households, all of their Booth varieties seedlings are supported by Mr. Tam. Each year Mr. Tam sold from 2.500-3.000 avocado grafting seedling of Booth varieties for many farmers in the province and other provinces.
Aims to export
Many households in the commune of Ea Na (Krong Ana) are happy with a promise harvest. Mr. Vu Xuan Phat (Quynh Ngoc Village I, Ea Na) said, this is the first garden for his family avocado off-season for harvest, but yield is similar to the main season. In particular, the advantages of this avocado type is on average about 3-5 fruits / kg, yellow bowel, high nutritional value.
